Among the positive events of 2011 are all the Occupy Wall Street protests across the United States of America, showing that people are waking up and taking action. The same goes for the “Indignados” manifestations around the globe, triggered off in Tunisia and Egypt a year ago, and re-designed and named by the Spanish peaceful but intense manifestations soon after.
Another important event was the launching of the movie THRIVE in November with a global movement growing around it. But this time I will pick the earlier WAYSEERS movement to represent them all. My logic tells me that it ought to be written with a triple e – Waysee-er – but English orthography apparently does not allow three identical vowels in a row.
I was reminded of the Wayseers just a week or so ago through a new song by Garret John LoPorto and Steve Bricks, that picks up the thread from the original Wayseer video. Here are the lyrics of the song:

Now you’re turned on, you’re tuned in. You see things differently. You see the answers that are intertwined and contained inside of the problems. You see the opportunities to create better systems that shed light into this world. - But don’t get hooked on your new ideas – You see all those helpless souls still stuck in their systems? You know attachment is what keeps them there… You know programs are the shackles that bind your consciousness – but they’re only supported by your choice to stay hooked into images from the past. At any time you can withdraw your support for old structures that are no longer helpful or necessary. That’s when you exercise the third step…
DROP OUT of all the lies. Sure the system had you – till you opened your eyes. Bad habits, Status, Greed and Compromise. That’s all just slavery in disguise. Don’t get hooked on nonsense from the past. You gotta realize nothing man made will last. Men can’t offer a permanent solution. That’s why we need this nonstop revolution.

Garret evokes the 1960s and what he calls the Summer of Love, and pays tribute to Timothy Leary, as he sings “Turn on to what you are. Tune in to the truth inside. Drop out of what’s not right.”
The 1960s brought us one of the strongest Aquarian waves so far. The most recent wave in the 1990s with the birth of the Internet and the spread of mobile phones around the globe, was technically even stronger, and we are now at the beginning of yet another Aquarian wave, that may prove to be the strongest and most decisive of them all. So just keep afloat and swimming! There is hope!

The original Wayseer video begins with an urgent call to attention…

Garret´s take on the present crisis of Humanity is an intuitive and poetic personal interpretation of the Aquarian Paradigm.
A less poetic and more historical-political interpretation must take into account the ongoing power struggle between the old paradigm elite and the newly liberated and awakening masses. It is in fact a drawn out culmination of the American and French revolutions against the monarchic, autocratic, slave-driving system that has been dominating human society for thousands of years.
So it´s not just that we have been ensnared in the fear-driven shortsighted rules and prejudices of the old paradigm. Freeing us from those could be a difficult enough paradigm shift to handle. The really difficult bit is that the old power brokers and war mongers have usurped the advanced SciFi technologies that belong to the Aquarian paradigm. With their near total command of money, material resources and political power, they have taken control of inventors and scientists and are ruthlessly using new Aquarian technologies to take over the world and re-enforce old paradigm society.
With most people unaware of what is really going on, a small clique of global bankers who control the military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us against, have treacherously taken over the political and financial power over both the US and Europe, along with a string of “client states” all over the planet. They have been using bribes and threats and cunning devices, including outright fraud and disguised massive theft along with staged false flag violence, to convince political rulers of all colors and denominations to do their bidding.
In having to break this consolidated evil power, and finally claim our freedom and right to self governance, WE THE PEOPLE are facing the toughest challenge of our known history. Yet, emerging victorious from this struggle is not only possible but mandatory, if we want to finally live in a sane world governed by human values and based on mutual love and respect. Even our very existence as a species is at stake.
We cannot fight back with brute force, so we have to use our opponents´ weaknesses to our advantage to deflect their devious attacks and turn their own weapons against them in the manner of Oriental Martial Arts.
Never forget, that the ruthless ruling “elite” are just human beings like you and me, even if they in their misguided ambitions come across as anonymous heartless and invincible monsters. Above all, don´t forget that they are a very small minority. And that they feed on us, “the 99%”, and that if we stop feeding them, they will wither away and lose all their power.
It´s quite easy to stop feeding them, if we just give it a little thought and start to take some simple action, based on awareness and a sense of self-preservation. We have to stop swallowing their baits and find our own alternative solutions to our needs.
My ACTION PLAN FOR SHIFTING PARADIGM suggests a number of ways we can stop feeding our enemies and make ourselves independent of them. Once you tune in, you can probably think of many other ways yourself.
The crucial factor is that enough people join and pull coherently in the same direction all together.
The film THRIVE convincingly describes the technical and economical situation we are in, along with the possible solutions to several of our present man-made problems, along the exact same lines as my ACTION PLAN.
